Amanda Lankford

  • Amanda Lankford built AJFD from the ground up with vision, grit, and dedication to her craft. Today, her work is featured in top publications like Martha Stewart and Brides, and she designs florals for both luxury weddings and high-profile brands like Mercedes-Benz and Veuve Clicquot.

Amanda’s concierge-level approach ensures that every floral detail is intentional, transforming spaces with bold, unforgettable designs. With studios in both Atlanta and Bozeman, she travels nationwide to produce extraordinary events, all while giving back to her community and mentoring fellow creatives.

Her journey proves that passion and perseverance can turn dreams into reality—and she’s committed to helping others do the same.

Michael Lankford

  • Michael has been an integral part of AJFD from the start, bringing expertise in legal, finance, and accounting while also playing a key role in fabrication and large-scale event production.

With experience in both public and private sectors, his background spans process improvement, enterprise risk governance, and project management. He holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Georgia, an MBA from Kennesaw State University, and is a Six Sigma Black Belt.

When he’s not engineering stunning event installations or diving into research, Michael enjoys the outdoors—spending his free time fishing, skiing, and hunting—or making memories with his amazing kiddos.

Heather Blackwell

  • Heather’s journey with AJFD began in 2014 when Amanda and Michael designed her wedding, sparking an instant friendship. In 2016, she officially joined the team as an administrative assistant—a role perfectly suited to her strengths in organization, coordination, and execution.

While her background isn’t in design, Heather thrives behind the scenes, ensuring every detail runs smoothly. Her passion lies in bringing ideas to life and easing the stress of those around her, giving them the confidence to hand off tasks knowing they’ll be handled seamlessly.

Having been with AJFD through its growth from Georgia to Montana, she wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.

Morgan Tate

  • Four years ago, a chance encounter over a cooler full of flowers led Morgan to AJFD. She was trying to recall the name of a flower when Amanda, a complete stranger at the time, gave her the answer—then immediately asked if she knew flowers. When she said yes, Amanda invited her to freelance, and the rest is history.

Her love for flowers started early through 4-H and high school floral design classes, where she earned basic certifications. After moving to Bozeman for college, she took a part-time job at a flower shop, gaining hands-on experience that deepened her expertise. A self-proclaimed creative weirdo, she has always been drawn to crafting and fine arts, with flowers as just another medium for expression. When she’s not designing, she’s out in the woods—camping, skiing, riding dirt bikes, taking drives and soaking in the inspiration that nature provides.
